Lving area/Kitchen ideas...Please!

Hi, I have not tried Sunny's glazes before, but I would like to try them in my kitchen and lviing room, which are basically just one open room. We have medium oak cabinets, lighter oak flooring, and travertine tile, with white woodwork. I like golds, reds, rich browns, but have no idea what to do in here!! Any suggestions would be great. Thanks!

With the light oak cabinets, light flooring and white trim I would paint the walls a pale yellow, not lemon yellow but a warm brownish yellow, and wash our Take Me to Tuscany glaze on top! It will add warmth, depth and character to the walls. It sounds like a really pretty kitchen!

Hi, thanks for the suggestions! Our cabinets are not really light, they are what I might call medium brown oak. I don't love them, but they will have to last for a while. I do like the golden, ochre yellow tuscan look, but not too bright. Would your idea work for that? And then what color might you suggest for the connecting living room, or would you do it all the same?? Thanks so much for your ideas, I am really struggling with picking out these colors!

If you do the yellow base and the Take Me to Tuscany Glaze in the kitchen, I would uses a light warm tan base in the living room with the same glaze the you use in the kitchen! It will visually stay connected, but also give a little seperation.
