Unisex Nursery

Baby is due in September and we are waiting to find out the sex until delivery, shocker, I know!  So we have settled on green, chocolate and off-white for the colors.  However, we don't want a cutesy nursery, instead we want to the room to fit with the rest of the more modern/contemporary house.  I think the irregular dot stencil will help to achieve this look but wondered which glaze or wash would work best with the color combination we have selected?  Also any other ideas for helping to keep the nursery contemporary but unisex, would be helpful!

If this helps, the bedding is probably going to be Amy Coe's Peanut collection so it has the elephants that are just outlined in white/off-white, pretty modern look.

Also, love this site, very helpful for those of us that are creative but need an extra push!

This sounds really cute and I love nursery ideas that can go either direction!

Colorwise I think either lizard lime washed walls with the irregular dot in the  toffee glaze combination (mix  16oz cappuccino with 10 original aging glaze ). OR wash the walls with cappuccino glaze and use lizard lime mixed with gator green 50/50 for the dots. It really depends on if you want the walls to be light green or tanish. It sounds reall really cute and I would love to see a photo when you are finished!
