Paint your outdoor curtains

I was recently looking at my Restoration Hardware catalog and there was an entire section on out door living, which is my favorite of course! If I could live in fip flops and sundresses I would be in HEAVEN!.
Outdoor curtains really look neat, but I was amazed they all were so incerdibly neutral...just waiting for a nice design in a punchy color! If I were so lucky to have a place where I could use outdoor curtains from Restoration Hardware I would buy a large scale stencil, some Sunny's glaze and a little bottle of a product from Golden artist colors called GAC900 ( this makes all acrylic paints ready for fabric). I would mix the two, lay them flat on my carport floor and customize my outdoor curtains...most likely with a pretty pink or sharp aqua blue on the brown panels.
If you do not live outdoors, these panels would be just as cute in a house with a lot of kids and animals...if they were designed to live with mother nature, surely they can stand a little kid gra do.
