I have two friends moving this spring/summer, and I cannot wait to help them figure out what to do with their new space! On a budget of course... Moving is such a great time to get organized and cleanse yourself from clutter!  In order to prepare myself to help them I went to Ikea today- This place is the best! I would not suggest doing an entire home in Ikea furniture, but the mix it in with what you have, old with new and modern is great!, and VERY cost effective, AND fun!
My favorite things I found are:
Hanging chair for a child's room- $69.00- once this is installed properly it is a hit!
the LACK Coffee table- $39.00 use alone or place four together for a huge coffee table!
I also fell in love with some of their ready made curtains..the possibilities are endless with these- paint the walls a punchy color, and use as is- OR get a huge cool stencil and stencil the panels for a look all your own! You could even hang these along one wall in a bedroom to soften things up!
I just might have to go back and get my self organized once I help my friends!
